Reuse is great for the environment and your pocketbook. But a move means thoroughly cleaning your current home and also your new home. Most cleaning products are not environmentally safe and the harsh chemicals can linger for years and years doing all sorts of damage.
Denver Concierge began using green cleaning products before "green" became fashionable because we care about where we live and enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains too. That is also why we were the first housecleaning company certified by the Green Clean Institute that promotes using green products across all cleaning industries.
When planning your move, you can find green cleaning products and get to work, or give us a call! You've got a lot to do when it comes to moving - let us handle the housecleaning! We will come out to your old or new home and thoroughly clean it from top to bottom, with only green cleaning products. Call Angela at 303-975-2808 to get on our schedule. |

Now who doesn't like junk mail? OK, nobody likes it, and it just piles up in our landfills too. Here's a great tip. When putting in your change of address during your move, fill in a temporary change of address card rather than a permanent change with the post office. The post office includes permanent addresses in the lists it sells, but doesn't include temporary addresses. So with no extra work, you're helping the environment and getting less junk mail. |

Saving the environment doesn't have to be a herculean task nor does it mean spending lots of money. It's about adjusting our lifestyle and thinking reuse. For example, you don't have to go out and buy brand new boxes just for your move. Instead you can save money and reuse boxes from your local grocer or liquor store. Most have stacks of boxes they are intending to throw away into the landfill. Each box you reuse literally means one less box in the landfill.
Now you have your boxes, you can go out and buy packing material. And who doesn't love popping bubble wrap? But when thinking reuse, you can use old newspaper. Also, you might have a stack yourself somewhere already. Your neighbors are probably more than happy with you taking it off their hands too, and putting it to work.
And that's a good thing for the environment and saves you money. Ka-ching! |
